Success for the actors, directed by Roman Nose
other initiatives in preparation for religious and cultural events
Continue to collect and spend the success Caries Theatre Company. Lately the group has performed in Scala, a village in the territory of Filandari, during the celebrations in honor of Our Lady of Power collecting compliments and applause with the performance of the comedy "Pi nu passaru ntozzulatu matrimoniu cumbinatu. The adventure of the theater began in May 2003 with the establishment of the association in Caria, a fraction of Drapia. This is one of the few cultural associations in the municipality, and you can tell, the most active among the existing ones. Although born just six years, the group is linked to the old tradition of amateur dramatics, "Don Bosco" of the late "Masciu Pascali, pioneer of the art of acting in the district drapiese. The actors are rehearsed and round, over time, their performance with new and interesting experiences and acting, always in Calabrian dialect. The main aim of members is precisely to study, learn and preserve the cultural traditions of our region, particularly through the territory of Drapia entertaining comedy, written and directed by Roman Nose, a person creative, experienced and passionate. The Company, however, is not limited only collegiate appearance, burlesque theater and the rustic dialect, but this year, provides for other initiatives by the considerable religious significance, artistic value and appreciation. First of all the exciting Passion of Christ, now in its seventh edition, which has involved a gradually increasing number of extras from the municipal area (over 60) recorded at the same time, the rise of audience participation. The members of the Company, satisfied and reassured by the results obtained so far, are already working on the next revision of the last hours of Christ. In all likelihood, this year's Easter event will be held on Palm Sunday. The organizers hope to set up some scenes in the castle garden Galluppi, recently held by the municipal administration headed by Mayor Alex Porcelli. The conditions of the structure, unfortunately, are precarious, and, if you were to intervene as soon as possible on it, there might be dangerous collapse. Therefore will not be able to use it, or you can, perhaps, use only the part of the wide courtyard annex and further away from the walls of the building. In such cases, the building would remain in the background as evocative choreographic element, and people could enjoy the spectacular position at a safe distance. We'll see what will decide the mayor. We remember that, in addition to the event of the Easter season (the most important of those organized by cultural), is also in preparation for the Nativity. Christmas in the realization of that commemoration, as is the case for several years, members of the association are not alone in its efforts, but also working with a committee made up of other people willing.
